The GREEN AND BLUE DEVELOPMENT Social Cooperative Enterprise (GBD SCE) is an innovative social enterprise based in Greece, founded by young scientists with a shared vision for sustainable development. Our work focuses on green and blue growth, bridging the gap between academic research, innovation and real-world applications that benefit communities, businesses and the environment.

GBD SCE transforms research outcomes and creative ideas into practical products, services and initiatives with a strong emphasis on sustainability, climate action and responsible tourism. As a social cooperative, we prioritize social impact alongside innovation, creating opportunities for young professionals, researchers and experts, especially those from rural or underrepresented areas.

WHAT WE DO

GBD SCE actively designs and implements national and international projects related to sustainability, climate change adaptation, rural and urban development and socio-economic empowerment. Through non-formal education, capacity-building activities and community-based initiatives, we support youth, adults and marginalized groups in developing skills, confidence and active citizenship.

Our multidisciplinary team brings expertise in education, environmental sciences, economics, digital marketing, ICT and European policies allowing us to deliver high-quality projects with meaningful and lasting impact.
